GREAT British finalist Luke French has been working in the industry since the age of 14.

Luke French is a chef who was born in the town of Cambridge.
He moved to Sheffield 11 years ago, and hasn’t looked back since.
The young chef began his cooking career as a kitchen porter at the age of 14.
Luke worked in hotels in and around the Cambridge area then later moved up to Sheffield to work.

He rose through the ranks to the position of head chef at a local gastropub after five years.
He met his wife Stacey Sherwood-French during the early stages of his success.
The chef was then named executive across the group and oversaw the launch of several new sites across the country.
What restaurants has Luke worked in?
Luke later went on to cook in the kitchens of Alimentum and The Fat Duck before relocating to Steel City.

In 2016, Luke opened Jöro restaurant with his wife, Stacey who he met at at The Milestone gastropub where he worked as the head chef.
They serve top notch food with Nordic/Japanese inflection which has receieved great accolades.
Jöro has received a Michelin Plate, 3 AA Rosettes and placing 32nd in the National Restaurant Awards followed.
They have expanded and began to serve up more casual east Asian food in Sheffield and Liverpool at Konjö and Nama.
When is Great British Menu on BBC?
You can find the Great British Menu on BBC Two on Saturday March 26, 2022.
The show will air at 2pm (except in Wales) and will feature the Northern Ireland contestants.
Another episode will air late at 3pm and will see the chefs compete over mains and desserts.
On Sunday at 12pm, the judges will decide their winner of the Northern Ireland region.

One chef will be sent home with the remaining free to pursue to the next stage.
